Observation: all the post-Time War Doctors mirror one of the five stages of grief

Nine is Denial (“just this once, everybody lives!”)

Ten is Bargaining (He tried to save The Master, just so he could save someone from Gallifrey. He literally traded his own life for Wilf’s.)

Eleven is Anger (“I’m the Doctor, so basically… run!” & every other time he got scary and threatening. Demons run when a good man goes to war and all.)

Twelve is Depression (he’s a sad, moody old man. I think he’s fairly self explanatory.)

And Thirteen is Acceptance (just look at her. You can tell there’s a weight off her shoulders. She’s finally happy again.)
